The 3rdAnnual Middle East Cyber Security 2017successfully concluded today at the Riyadh Marriott Hotel, Saudi Arabia today.The eventwas organized by Nispana Innovative Platforms in association with DNJ, Saudi Arabia. The theme is “Critical infrastructure informationprotection – key to cyber readiness”
The highlights of the second day were visionary presentations by Mr. Ali Al Omran – DGM, Arab National Bank and also a top in class presentation by Mr. Sultan AbuKoshaim CIO, Saudi Standards & Quality Organization and Mr. Abdul Rashid Samater – Ministry of Justice and Dr. Ayad Aldaijy, Chief Information Officer, Ministry of Environment, Water & Agriculture. There was also a technology presentation on “Securing New Digital Platforms” from Mourad Yesayen, Vice President – Paladin Capital Group. One more important topic of discussion was the recent hack in the middle east regionwhich disabled thousands of computers across multiple government ministries in Saudi Arabia.
The paneldiscussions on “Collaboration between governments & private sector and establishing Public – Private Partnerships (PPPs) to manage threats to critical Information Infrastructures” and “Creating robust International alliances and partnerships to deter shared threats and increase international security” saw extensive participation from all the attending delegates.
